Blink is a book about the first two seconds of decision making. Once again, Malcolm Gladwell takes stories, situations, and complex issues and simplifies the process,  The theory of then slicing by itself is outstanding in showing that our unconscious can often deliver better answers than exhaustive, analytical ways of thinking.  Snap judgment does have value especially when it is protected, controlled, and focused.  BY paying attention to the tiniest details, the first two seconds so matter and the actions we take can make a difference.  It is a book that I couldn’t put down.
